My Experience
Hi I’m employed as a dog handler for Pest Free Banks Peninsula in New Zealand. We are working towards elimination of possums from around 24000 hectares of land on the Banks Peninsula.
I work with an English springer spaniel and he is a detection dog for brush tailed possums.
Dog Information
Mack is not two yet and has been working with me since the beginning of July.
He is a possum detection dog that will engage the animal to aid in the removal of the possum from tight bush and undergrowth.
Mack was trained by Stephen Barton in Wanaka for Pest Free Banks Peninsula.
